We are hiring! Lead Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lead Engineer will develop specifications and designs for the company’s products. In addition, They will contribute to operations, service, and sales as needed. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have 5+ years of experience with the design and operations of brewing equipment in different scale, including brewhouse, fermenters, beer bright tanks, canning machine, keg washer, etc.

• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation is required.

• Drafting experience is a MUST, capable to draft product manual, instruction, installation guide book, etc.

• Ability of part design, fabrication, and sourcing is required.

• Experience with sensors and measurement techniques is required.

• Experience working with fabricators and/or parts manufacturers is required

• Must be proficient using CAD and software that required for designing and engineering works.

• Proficiency in modeling and coding languages e.g. C, Python, MATLAB, R, etc., is required.

• Must have excellent attention to detail.

• Must be self-motivated and positive. We’re a small team, being able/willing to pitch in anywhere is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Key role in development and improvement of new product. Responsible for taking design tasks and seeing them through to commissioned products.

• Willing to traveling between China and the US occasionally is required

• Creating standard operating procedures for new equipment and process methods.

• Assessment of existing processes: design, commissioning, and documentation of innovative new/modified production equipment and processes.

• Act as a technical resource for sales and marketing staff.

EDUCATION BS, MS in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. COMPENSATION Commensurate with experience. Job Type: Full-time/part time
